Trust and Identity updates and strategy consultation

The Trust and Identity (WP5) team will present results on the work done so far and will use this meeting to solicit inputs for the plan for the GN5 project (2023).

The meeting is open to anybody that involved in the T&I activities in their own countries as well as in the current GN4 project.

P4 and Data Plane Programming

18 June, 2021 | 14.00 – 15.30 CEST

Different teams in Europe have explored data plane programming (DPP) for several use cases (RARE production grade router, monitoring via In-Band Network Telemetry, DDoS detection and mitigation, and the GÉANT P4 Lab enabling tests at line rate speed). Those developments run on different platforms including DPDK devices, switches based on a P4 forwarding chipset and FPGA cards.

This BoF aims to raise the DPP community interest in the R&E environment, focusing on practical use cases with the goal to foster the uptake of these solutions in production. We welcome network operators, researchers and all those interested in joining the discussion.

Global Cloud Collaboration Meeting

1 July, 2021 | 10.00 – 11.30 CEST and 15.30 – 17.00 CEST (2 sessions)

This annual Global Cloud Collaboration meeting provides an opportunity for REN participants from around the globe to share and discuss updates, challenges and successes in their work related to cloud services, whether commercial or community-provided. This year, two sessions of the meeting will be held to maximise the opportunities for participation from across the globe. Participants are welcome to attend one or both sessions.
